Lunch With Rotary

Paul and I had the privilege of presenting the vision of 704 to the Albemarle Rotary Club yesterday.  We had a great meeting!  About 60 members were there for lunch and our presentation.  Wendy and Jennifer were able to come, as well as a fellow youth pastor Matt Miller, and Pastor Brad Lynch at North Albemarle.

An enormous thanks to the 4 of them for coming to support us.  An enormous thanks to the Rotary Club for having us.  And the most enormous thanks to Lee and Mary Burt Allen for making the day happen.  We appreciate you guys for believing in us enough to get us the floor!

I felt the meeting was very productive, and went just like we planned it.  I only said one (not to be mentioned here) stupid thing too!  We got a handful of good responses, and I believe many more were interested in what we planned on doing to reach teenagers in Stanly County.  I look forward to following up with these men and women, and finding more and more people to jump on board!

On a side note, we have finished the business plan and will likely get it online in a pdf file soon for everyone to see.  They look pretty sweet too, all 13 pages.
